How to Use Regular Photoshop Action Complete Guide

Step 1: Lock the Background Layer

Open your image in Photoshop.

Ensure that your image is set to a locked "Background" layer. If it’s not, merge your layers by pressing Ctrl + E (Windows) or Cmd + E (Mac).

Alternatively, you can do this manually:
Go to Window > Layers.

Right-click your photo layer and select "Flatten Image".
Once the image is flattened, it will be locked as the background layer.
Note: If your image is already set as the background layer, you can skip this step.
